These antique diamond cluster stud earrings are just fabulous. Crafted during the Edwardian era, each stunning earring features approx 0.5ct of diamond weight set in platinum. A bezel set, old cut diamond is at the heart of each earring, surrounded by a halo of 16 further old cut diamonds. The old cut facets give the earrings a warm lustre and sparkle, catching the light splendidly. Whilst the front of the diamond earring is set in platinum, the back is 18ct yellow gold. This technique of mixing metals is often seen in Edwardian era jewellery. These earrings are for pierced ears and fasten to the ear with butterflies which have to be twisted to fasten. If you’re looking for a really special pair of antique diamond earrings, to either wear for an event or as a special gift, then these are an excellent purchase.
